Douglas “James” Wiederhold, the owner of Girls Do Porn affiliate website MomPOV and the original actor in Girls Do Porn videos for the first several years of the crime ring’s existence, was indicted in federal court Thursday on multiple charges of sex trafficking by force, fraud and coercion.

Wiederhold was arrested in Michigan earlier this month and appeared in federal court on Thursday in San Diego.

The indictment was sent to 404 Media by the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Southern District of California, where a federal investigation into Girls Do Porn has been underway since 2019.

Wiederhold is charged with one count of conspiracy to commit sex trafficking, and five separate charges of committing sex trafficking, each pertaining to a different victim. During a civil trial against Girls Do Porn, victims said that Wiederhold lied to them about their videos never appearing online and refused to speak to them after spreading the videos on the internet.

The document states that Wiederhold and Michael Pratt, ringleader for Girls Do Porn and recently captured FBI Most Wanted fugitive, “conspired and agreed with each other and others to knowingly, in and affecting interstate and foreign commerce, recruit, entice, harbor, transport, provide, obtain, advertise, maintain, patronize, and solicit by any means a person [...] knowing and in reckless disregard of the fact that means of force, threats of force, fraud, coercion, and any combination of such means,” and one charge of conspiracy to commit trafficking alone carries a maximum sentence of life in prison.
